Thank you Olga! I leave with goals and aspirations I never thought I would have with the help of an incredibly talented therapist. Throughout this time I haven't changed who I am, but I adapted into someone better. I feel calmer, happier, more confident. Whilst my panic attacks will never completely disappear, I feel much more confident in my ability to deal with them.
I'd like to thank Olga for her support over the past 12 sessions. I found her to be patient, supportive and open-minded. She's also got a great sense of humour and I was surprised how quickly I opened up to her. I enjoyed the hypnosis sessions in particular.

Olga Pacholec is a Counselling Psychologist in training. She is in the final stage of her doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy (DcPsych), which she intends to complete in the next year.
Olga practices pluralistic therapy, which integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioural, existential-humanistic and brief psychodynamic therapies. Moreover, she is trained in Gestalt therapy, mindfulness and Ericksonian hypnosis, the elements of which she integrates into her practice. With a client’s willingness, she uses hypnotic techniques to achieve therapeutic change, in particular when working with clients suffering from anxiety, stress, phobias or compulsions. By incorporating various therapeutic methods, adapted to each client’s needs, she helps them to achieve their treatment goals in the most effective way.
Olga strongly believes that each client is unique and therefore has different therapeutic needs.Upon assessment, she offers an individually tailored treatment plan. During the sessions, she explores their behaviours, beliefs, values and emotions. She places strong emphasis on forming productive therapeutic alliances and empathetic connections with her clients.
Olga works with people of various ages and backgrounds on a wide range of psychological difficulties. She has knowledge and clinical experiencein areas such as depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, anger, social anxiety, panic, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-harm, suicide and addiction. Moreover, she works with issues such as low self-esteem, lack of confidence, poor body image, stress and burnout, relationship and sexual difficulties, as well as other life problems and challenges. She has a strong interest in non-substance addictive behaviours, such as gambling, internet, shopping,or sex addictions.
With her clients, she explores the problems underlying their addictive behaviour and its impact on their well-being and relationships. Her own doctoral research concerns pornography addiction. Her goal is to generate knowledge that could lead to the development of a specific therapeutic approach to help people with problematic pornography use. Additionally, Olga has experience in providing mental health services within the criminal justice system. She has worked in male prisons in the UK and is familiar with the mental health issues prevalent within this population, such as antisocialbehaviour or substance use. Her work also involved co-operation with other professionals within the criminal justice system such as psychiatrists and law professionals. Furthermore, Olga is interested in research, in particular examining the effectiveness of various therapeutic approaches. In addition to her own research, she is currently involved in a study concerning the effectiveness of pluralistic therapy in the treatment of anxiety and depression.
